Development and evaluation of Mato Grosso's decarbonisation pathway

The potential impact of Mato Grosso's priority actions have helped to shape its GHG emissions reduction target. The state is aiming for net zero emissions by 2050. 

With the implementation of these priority actions, Mato Grosso aims to reduce its GHG emissions by 92% by 2030, and 118% by 2050 (both compared to BAU levels). 

Fully implementing these actions will provide a significant reduction in net GHG emissions over the next decade and beyond, exceeding the 2050 target set by the state.
